The Magic of Meditation - Introduction & Mini-Meditation Retreat

Have you tried meditation before but not sure if you're doing it...right? Or have you heard about how beneficial meditation is but just don't know much about it? Wondering what kinds of meditation might be best for you? Then this workshop and mini-retreat are for you!

Let's face it, there's a lot of information and even apps out there to help you with meditation, but many people have asked me - how do you actually DO it? We'll break it down for you and give you a chance to practice several meditation techniques to see what fits for YOU!

There are a couple of options for you to participate:

1-hour Introductory Workshop - $20
2-hour Deep Dive Meditation Retreat Experience - $30
Full 3-hour Workshop & Retreat - $40

1 - 2 pm: Introductory Workshop - mostly lecture with some short practices, we'll explore what meditation is, the physical, emotional, and spiritual benefits of practice, and different tools, techniques, and styles of meditation.

2 - 4 pm: The Deeper Dive - we'll have a chance to explore longer practices such as mindfulness, japa, mantra, silent, and journeying meditations with some group discussion and reflection.

Those attending the full 3-hour experience will be eligible to win prizes!

To prepare for this event, especially if you are participating in the Deeper Dive Retreat Experience:

- Ensure that you have eaten a grounding meal at least one hour before the event
- Wear comfortable clothes and layers
- Bring your own yoga mat, bolster/pillow, and blanket, if you have these items
- Chairs will also be available
- Bring a journal and writing utensil
